tv grand designs  In 2012 Belowground Ltd were involved in a project that appeared on Grand Designs series 13 episode 2, where 167no times 350mm diameter CFA augured piles were constructed for a contiguous piled retaining wall, and for a floor slab in Camden, north London, job value £80K. tv homes under the hammer Belowground Ltd were instructed by local developers to design and construct a reinforced piled underpinning slab for a property bought at auction that had suffered subsidence in Paignton, Devon. Our engineers' solution was to augur bore 14no 300mm dia piles with a 250mm thick reinforced slab incorporating underpinning needle beams to prevent any further subsidence. Job value: £20k. tv restoration man Our clients purchased a small former gatekeeper's lodge on the edge of a larger estate in Cranleigh, Surrey. An extension was required to increase floor space. Belowground Ltd were then instructed to design and build a piled slab which consisted of 7no x 300mm diameter augur bored piles, and 22m² x 250mm reinforced concrete slab. tv river cottage Back in 2010 Belowground Ltd were appointed to design and construct a piled foundation, consisting of 220mm diameter steel cased driven piles, 30m of RC ground beams to extend the River Cottage main farmhouse at their new location having just moved from Dorset to near Axminster, Devon.
